Jeanie Silletti is a retired faculty member of Owens Community College (Toledo, Ohio) where she taught courses in Cultural Anthropology and Multicultural Diversity. During her twelve years of European residence in Spain, England, and Italy, she served as academic dean at an international high school and as adjunct faculty with the University of Maryland. In Toledo, she chaired the Annual Multifaith Banquet which brought the community together in fellowship and in the sharing of faith traditions.
Joining the World Affairs Council in 2015, she was a co-presenter of the Summer Forum “Perspectives on Cuba” in June, 2016, where she discussed her recent travels to Cuba on an educational tour. She also is a facilitator with Great Decisions.
Jeanie is a member of the Island Writers’ Network and she is an art docent at the Telfair Museum in Savannah.
Her role on the Board is to facilitate World Affairs Council support of the Model United Nations program in Beaufort County Schools.
