About Us

Drawing on academic specialists, current and former policymakers, and international business leaders from the United States and around the world for its speakers, the World Affairs Council of Hilton Head provides an opportunity for its members to discuss, as well as debate, critical topics in US foreign and national security policy. Its speaker's program is widely recognized as one of the broadest ranging in the region, offering fourteen  presentations each year to its more than 600 members and their guests.

The World Affairs Council of Hilton Head meets from October through May on the first and third Fridays of each month, except for December and May when we meet on the first Friday only.  Members are invited to arrive for coffee at 9:00  and be seated by 9:50 for the meeting which begins promptly at 10:00 AM. Member's questions follow immediately after the presentation and the meeting is adjourned by 11:30 AM.
