Membership Policy

Membership is open to all who are interested in international relations and U.S. foreign policy. Applications for membership in the World Affairs Council of Hilton Head can be made by contacting the Administrative Director, Joan Apple Lemoine at 843-682-3961 or by e-mail to Wachhi@gmail.com.

Any member of the Board of Directors will be pleased to answer questions about the Council and its membership policies. Contact information may be found on the Director's page.

Due to space restrictions we must limit membership.  We are currently at that limit and have a waiting list. If you're interested in the World Affairs Council of Hilton Head please add your name to the list. Openings do occur frequently and we invite those on the Wait List to join in the order their name is added. Those on the Wait List are invited to special events and Global Affairs Forums.

When inquiring about membership, please make sure you give us your name as you wish it to appear in our records, along with your e-mail address, your mailing address and your phone number. We are pleased to offer a broad ranging program featuring distinguished speakers for 2010-2011. Please check our Meetings & Events tab for updates to our programs.

Please Note

All members are asked to wear their ID badges for admission to meetings. We invite members to gather  for coffee prior to the presentation, which will  begin promptly at 10:00 am.
