In keeping with our mission, to empower citizens to participate in the national debate on world affairs, we are offering a link to important national and foreign press sites and to various "think tanks" focused on global political issues. These sites were chosen by the WACHH Directors, and may be easily modified to include sites recommended by our Members.

The Technology
Many news-related websites publish their content as an RSS Feed (Really Simple Syndication) and broadcast this feed to their readers. There are at least two advantages of this process: 1) the broadcast can occur at any time new information is available and 2) it is not necessary for the reader to visit the website to acquire the information.
We are using an RSS aggregator, Pageflakes, to capture these news feeds and have created a unique "Pagecast" for WACHH members' use.
Go to the WACHHI's Pagecast
Hover your mouse over each line in the individal windows to see a thumbnail of the article
Click a news item to see the complete article in a new browser window.
We have also provided links to those sites which do not have feeds. Clicking on the desired site in the "Other Sites of Interest" window, will take you directly to the source.
We solicit your comments and suggestions on the choice of sources and the use of this page. |
