In keeping with our mission — to empower citizens to participate in the national debate on world affairs — we are offering links to important national and foreign press sites and to various “think tanks” focused on global political issues. These sites were chosen by the WACHH Directors. The list of sites may be modified to include sites recommended by our members.
The Technology
Many news-related websites publish their content as an RSS Feed (Really Simple Syndication) and broadcast this feed to their readers. There are at least two advantages of this process: 1) the broadcast can occur at any time new information is available and 2) it is not necessary for the reader to visit the website to acquire the information. We have captured these news feeds to summarize these “live updates” for WACHH members’ use.
