We are pleased to announce that we have selected our new Executive Director, Nadine Mooers.  

Over the past twelve years, Nadine has established a strong track record of success in helping not-for-profit organizations grow and deliver excellent services to members and constituents. She has led a consulting business and served in various director roles in three organizations, including Hilton Head Preparatory School and the Historic Savannah Foundation.    From these experiences, Nadine brings expertise and new ways to approach WACHH’s operations.  Most importantly, Nadine’s strengths align with our mission and strategic needs. These strengths include a love for learning, strong communication, and a developer/marketer, highly organized, exceptionally strategic, and a relationship builder – with members, sponsors, and partners.  A common message conveyed by all her references is that she does everything with care, concern, and sensitivity.

Nadine and her husband, Woody, moved from New Jersey to the Lowcountry in October 2015.  She is a Ramapo College of New Jersey graduate and has completed postgraduate work at Columbia University and Yale University.

Nadine stepped into her new role this week and will work closely with Maureen Korzik throughout January to learn about WACHH operations and programs.
