Mark O’Neill
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Mark is a 1978 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in general engineering and commissioned into the Infantry. He holds a Master of Arts degree in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, studied Mandarin Chinese at the U.S. Defense Language Institute, the British Ministry of Defense Chinese Language School in Hong Kong, and at Beijing University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College and the National Defense University’s CAPSTONE program for General and Flag Officers. Mark has served as a director on the board of the non-profit Alphapointe, a national leader in providing rehabilitation services, training, and career opportunities for blind and visually impaired Americans. He also served as a Senior Advisor to the non-profit VetVoice Foundation, a national advocate for veteran and national security issues. He currently serves on the advisory board of Dynamic Planning and Response, a leading veteran owned small business based in Hawaii. An avid hiker and loyal St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, Mark and his wife, Lori, reside in Hilton Head, South Carolina. |
